ALPE participates at the annual convention of the French association APPT

On May 19, 20 and 21, ALPE coordinators

Carmen Alonso, and Susana Noval have had the opportunity to attend the annual convention of the French association APPT - Association des Personnes de Petite Taille, in Montpellier, France.

At the convention, we have been given the opportunity to talk about our organization, who we are, how we work with families and adults who reach us, how we have grown and how we work in a network, at the national and international level. We have been able to explain how our collaboration agreements with different international organizations are and how we have helped the Latin American countries to have their own organizations. We also exposed the need and the intention to create a European federation.

This meeting has helped us to know and listen to different experiences and points of view of families and adults, and to know how they live their condition. We have exchanged information, adventures, laughter, emotions ... that has given us all, will to keep on working.
